CREDIT SEMESTER SYSTEM (CSS)

    Undergraduate School of Nutrition and Health UGM operates a credit system namely Credit Semester System (CSS) established by Directorate of Higher Education, Ministry of Education Indonesia.
    In general, 1 CSS equals to 1 hour of lecture and 1-2 hour of individual assignment per week in every semester. However, each course unit stands for different credits which represents the study load for particular learning activity:

    COURSES

    1. Lecture (1 CSS = 1 hour/week/semester)
    2. Tutorial (1 CSS = 2 hour/week/semester)
    3. Discussion/seminar/individual study (homework, literature study) (1 CSS = 1 hour/week/semester)
    4. Practical session (1 CSS = 3 hour/week/semester)
    5. Placement in clinical or community setting (1 CSS = 4 hour/week/semester)

    Students are awarded a bachelor’s degree after earning 150 credits.
