HistoryThe Undergraduate School of Nutrition and Health was founded in 2003 according to Universitas Gadjah Mada Rectoral Decree no. 53/P/SK/HKTL/2003 by Prof. dr. Hamam Hadi, MS, Sc.D. At that time, this was the first nutrition school in Indonesia with primary focus on human health providing three area of competence: clinical nutrition, community nutrition and food service management. UGM is also the first university in Indonesia that successfully arrange a year Dietetic Internship Program that could be enrolled by students who already receive their Bachelor in Nutrition (5th year).

The aim of the Undergraduate School of Nutrition and Health was to provide profesionals nutrition and dietetic to help tackle nutritional problems in Indonesia.
