Community and Family Health Care – Interprofessional Education
In the real clinical setting, a health care system is comprised by various practitioners with different task but only have one goal to improve the health status of their patients. However, many medical and health schools in Indonesia are exclusive from one to the other. Students have limited access to learn from other disciplines and this will limit their ability to collaborate when they are working.
CFHC-IPE is a program that provides an inter-disciplinary interaction between students in the Faculty of Medicine including those for students of medical doctor, nursing and dietician. Good relationship between team is the cornerstone of CFHC curriculum. The activities of this program includes patient safety, evidence based practice, public health, ethic and professionalism, family medicine, learning skills, clinical skills lab, inter-professional education (IPE) and personal development.
